Library Hacks:  Reuse, Repurpose, and Remix

February 10, 2017

Librarians are some of the most creative people around, making things happen in times of shrinking budgets, limited staff, and constant deadlines.  We’re also experts at sharing ideas and modifying them to work better at our locations. The SUNYLA Midwinter Online Conference planning committee is seeking proposals describing your favorite tech and non-tech ideas, and how you’re using them in your library.  Do you have great ideas about how to reuse code/widgets/APIs in your library webpages?  Have you repurposed space in your library in order to better meet the needs of your users?  Do you have best practice tips for remixing your PR for multiple social media outlets?  Have you hacked instruction ideas for improved success in the classroom?  Share your experience with your colleagues at the SUNYLA Midwinter Virtual Conference on February 10, 2017.

Technology requirements for attendance: Computer, internet connection, microphone/speakers (headset recommended) or telephone. Zoom will be used for this conference and is free for use by attendees.

You do not need to be a SUNYLA member in order to attend this free conference. Recordings of the sessions will be available shortly after the conference on this webpage.
