January Lightening Talk

There was a last minute cancelation and our talk with Christine Faraday has been postponed until a new date can be scheduled. Filling in last minute, Carleen Huxley presented a short talk on her experience teaching a college success course with an information literacy emphasis.

Call for Submissions

This site is a response to librarians within SUNY wanting a way to share/exchange ideas around information literacy. Now that it’s set up, we need content authors. Some ideas for posts include:

  • A lesson plan of which you’re proud
  • An activity of which you’re proud
  • A tech tool you’ve used (the good, the bad, the beautiful and the ugly)
  • A review of a recent scholarly article
  • Something cool you found in the ACRL sandbox that applies to SUNY
  • Anything you’ve submitted to the IL Portal
  • An opinion piece
  • Anything related to Information Literacy within SUNY
