SUNY Library Services Platform (LSP)
•   Campuses and the LSP Implementation Team are busy with Alma configuration forms;
•   Weekly meetings/calls/training are underway with campus representatives, project managers and Ex Libris;
•   Shared Servers: Any Requests for data cleanup submitted to OLIS via Footprints Fri, Apr 26; 
•   Shared Servers: Deadline for Data Cleanup: Aleph to be used only for regular activities until Appropriate Group Freeze. Fri, May 24; 
•   Monthly LSP update webinar will be held on March 15 at 2:00;
•   LSP FAQs are available;
•   Significant product documentation on Alma and Primo is available at the Ex Libris Knowledge Center (no logon necessary);
•   Stay up to date on developments via LSP website and/or the new sunylsp email list;

Open Educational Resources
•   SUNY OER Champion events were recently held at Suffolk County Community College and Buffalo State College;
•   Series of Lumen Waymaker Course webinars held this week;
•   OER Workshop will be held at Weschester Community College on 3/20;
•   OER Community Course has been successfully deployed and getting great reviews.  More about this course may be found at:

SUNY Libraries Consortium (SLC)

•   New SLC email list has been established initially using the SCLD-l subscriber list; get in touch if additional subscriptions are needed/desired;
•   Carrie Fishner, Director of Resnick Library at the SUNY College of Technology at Delhi, is the newest member of the SLC Board. Carrie is stepping in to fill an open position and her term runs through the SLC Spring Meeting in 2021. Carrie is also on the SUNYLA Executive Committee, and is currently the past SUNYLA President;
•   SLC Board monthly meetings scheduled for 3/7/2019, 4/4/2019, and 5/2/2019, as well as a half day meeting for 3/13/2019. You can submit questions and agenda items for the Board meetings through Executive Director, Chuck O’Bryan (;

•   OLIS continues to support the migration to the ALMA LSP;  Maureen Zajkowski and Gail Pawlowski have been deep in data migration as well as other migration activities;
•   Maureen Zajkowski visited Stony Brook University to meet with Darren Chase to discuss a variety of Scholarly Communications issues;
