SUNY Library Services Platform (LSP)
•   The SUNY-Ex Libris contract for Alma/Primo has been finalized; work has begun with the vendor; this includes implementation forms for the vanguard campuses as well as providing Ex Libris with SUNY consortial details;
•   A LSP Project Update webinar is scheduled for January 26th at 3:00 p.m
•   Significant product documentation on Alma and Primo is available at the Ex Libris Knowledge Center (no logon necessary);
•   Stay up to date on developments via website RSS feed and/or the new sunylsp email list;

•   OLIS is working with group 4 of the current OCLC reclamation project;

Electronic Resources 
•   The Commercial Products Committee (CPC) is conducting a SUNYConnect database review; see below for more details;
•   SUNY-wide access to Scopus ends February 28, 2018;
•   EBSCO has provided an offer for SUNYConnect-wide ownership of the American Antiquarian Society (AAS) Historical Periodicals Collection (all 5 series); please get in touch with statements of interest;
•   January 2018 updates for the SUNY ScienceDirect knowledge bases (EBSCO, ProQuest) have been sent to the vendors;
•   ScienceDirect switch to https access (1/23/18);
•   Cold calls and related inquiries – Does your library have (purchasing) interest in a new license for BrowZine, LibGuides, Digital Theatre+ ?
Open Educational Resources
•   “Open NYS is collaboration between SUNY and CUNY University systems to showcase and support the use of Open Educational Resources (OER)”;
•   SUNY OER workshops – Old Westbury (February 23, 2018) Corning (March 8), Cayuga (March 16), Oneonta (March 23) and Suffolk (April 28); more information and free registration available;

SUNY Libraries Consortium (SLC)
•   The CPC has received SUNYConnect database quotes from EBSCO, Gale/Cengage and ProQuest;  committee review includes vendor presentations scheduled for February 6, 2018; committee timeline indicates that a recommendation to the SLC Board will be made in April of this year;
•   Applications are being received for the SLC Executive Director position;

•   Our deepest sympathies to Maggie Horn (OLIS, retired) on the death of her husband Tom;
