Web Manager Report
- Yet another round of spammers/bots hit the site over Presidents' Day, leading to overages in our traffic allowance towards the end of February and briefly taking the site down. I blocked a bunch of IPs from Russia (based on the site logs) to avoid a recurrence of the traffic spike. Apparently some western NY IPs are adjacent to some of the large blocks of Russian IPs, so in a few cases I inadvertently blocked some local traffic. If you run into a 403 error, send your IP to web@sunyla.org, and I'll adjust the blocked IP range.
- Renewed the web hosting for the year. $119.40.
- Updates continue as needed; if you find outdated information, please let me know so it can be fixed.
