The first meeting between UUP and the State of New York regarding the new contract will be held on July 15.  The contract team will be working hard to achieve the best contract they can for the workers.  I encourage librarians and library workers to bring their concerns to the negotiations team, at contract@uupmail.org, and the A-48 Committee.
