IDS Project Liaison Report
« on: January 28, 2016, 04:42:46 PM »
The IDS Project Online Learning Institute is well on its way through the Spring 2016 Lending 101 course and there are still seats available for the Borrowing 101 and Copyright 101 courses.  Do you know anyone in resource sharing that would benefit from participating in these free courses?  Direct them to http://idsproject.org/OLI/registration.aspx

Planning for the IDS Project Annual Conference is underway and the conference will be at the Desmond Hotel & Conference Center in Albany (http://www.desmondhotelsalbany.com) on July 28th and 29th, with the All Region User Group meeting happening on July 27th.  The IDS Project Conference Planning Committee is seeking proposals for conference presentations and posters.

In particular, IDS Project is looking for proposals focusing on:
•   Resource Sharing Best Practices
•   Integration of Acquisitions/Collection Development & ILL Operations
•   Physical Delivery of Library Materials
•   Best Practices for Large-Scale Weeding
•   Coordinated Collection Development
•   Open Access/Open Publishing
•   Development & Uses of ILLiad Addons
•   Assessment of Resource Sharing Policies, Procedures, and Systems
•   Effective Software Development/Implementations Techniques

Interested in presenting at the conference?  Please submit your proposal at http://idsproject.org/conferences/2016/proposals.aspx  Conference registration fees are waived for presenters.

We would like to give a warm welcome our newest member, Brandeis University!
