SUNYConnect LMS and Related Activities
•   OLIS and SCLD executive board will be reviewing vendor responses to SUNY’s Request for Information soliciting information from next generation library management system vendors;
•   Public versions of vendors’ RFI responses will be made available to the SUNY library community;
•   OLIS will provide updates on the shared catalog/single bib project at the SUNYLA Conference.

EBSCO Discovery Service
•   All campuses have at least initial configuration of the EBSCO tool Curriculum Builder (reading list interoperability between CMS (Bb, etc.) and EDS); the vendor hosted and supported version of the tool is available to all interested SUNY EDS campuses at no additional charge (through June 2017);
•   EBSCO and Northern NY Library Network are looking into the feasibility of including the New York Historic Newspaper content in EDS;
•   Some of the SUNY EDS sites can be found here.

Full-Text Finder (EBSCO)
•   See EBSCO’s schedule of training sessions; including ones on Full Text Finder.

Electronic Resources 
•   Renewal costs of shared nursing ebook program have been received from the vendor (STAT!Ref); contact OLIS Liaison if you are interested in participating;
•   Scopus is available to all SUNY ScienceDirect campuses; “Scopus is the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature” [vendor website];
•   ArtStor “Shared Shelf” amendment to SUNY-ArtStor contract being finalized; vendor has agreed to an additional discount;
•   Kanopy demand driven acquisition program offer (initiated by Western NY 3R) is available to all SUNY libraries;
•   Update to SUNY ScienceDirect knowledgebase (May 2015) has been sent to ProQuest and EBSCO;
•   Cold calls (and related) – please contact the OLIS Liaison if you are interested in one or more of the following: American Academy of Pediatrics, NEJM Journal Watch, Statista (initial contact with vendor has been made).

Open SUNY and Related Activities
•   Open SUNY Executive Director, Kim Scalzo is scheduled to start later this month;
•   Introduction to Open Educational Resources (OERs) course was facilitated by Karen Gardner-Athey and included librarian, instructional designer and teaching faculty participants;
•   Open SUNY Affordable Learning Solutions on “adopting OERs;
•   OER community/content is now included in the SUNY Digital Repository; see this link for more information on participating;
