Professional Development Committee Report

The Professional Development Committee participated in the following activities:
I. Professional Development Grants Subcommittee
The PDG Subcommittee has been busy reviewing applications. They received three applications in the last several months. One was disqualified due to the fact that the applicant was not a SUNYLA member. Currently two applications are being reviewed. A decision on both applications will be made shortly. There is still $2,500 remaining in the budget for professional development activities.
II. Mentoring Program
The subcommittee is in the process of developing an assessment strategy for the mentoring program. We are planning to hold a meeting sometime in February.
