Seven out-of-state pilot member libraries began the preliminary stages of Mentoring and will soon join the IDS Project custom holdings groups. These libraries are American University, Bowdoin College, Duke University, Middlebury College, University of Richmond, University of Texas at Austin, and Wellesley College. IDS Project member libraries will receive official announcements to update custom holdings groups via the IDS-L mailing list when these libraries are ready to go live.
Voting on the IDS Project Council bylaws opened on Wednesday, January 21st and will continue to be open until February 13th, 2015. Voting instructions were sent to library directors and appointed library representatives via the IDSDirectors-L mailing list. IDS Project will be presenting a poster session at the upcoming 2015 ILLiad International Conference focusing on “Extending Community and Innovation.” Shannon Pritting, Director of Library and Learning Resources at SUNY Polytechnic Institute, will be also be presenting his presentation titled “IDS Logic: Connecting ILLiad with OCLC and other Services via Server Addons” at the ILLiad Conference.
