LACUNY's winter program “LACUNY: Past, Present, and Future" was held on December 13, 2013, 2 pm. Presentations included a history of LACUNY, its impact on CUNY, its future plans.
LACUNY Institute “Information Literacy to Empower: Theory and Practice” will be held on April 4, 2014 at the Graduate Center. Barbara Fister will present a keynote on information literacy in the context of information freedom, privacy, and surveillance.
http://2014lacunyinst.commons.gc.cuny.edu/LACUNY’s 75th Anniversary Celebration will be held on June 12, 2014 from 5:30-9 PM at the Baruch Vertical Campus. Appearing between the mix and mingle hour and desserts will be keynote speaker Dr. Kenneth T. Jackson, Jacques Barzun Professor in History and Social Sciences, Columbia University.
http://llawto3.wix.com/lacuny75LACUNY established a new scholarship for library school students in honor of Dália Leonardo and her lifelong contributions to LACUNY and to librarianship. Two scholarships of $750 + LACUNY membership will be awarded annually.

LACUNY Executive Council meets on Fridays: Jan 17, Feb 21, Mar 21, and May 16, 2014 at 2 PM at the Graduate Center.
