SUNYConnect LMS and Related Activities
•   SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry switched to production with the SUNYConnect LMS as scheduled on May 14, 2013; Welcome ESF!
•   Conference session on efforts towards a single bibliographic record for titles in shared server catalogs: “F68. “That was then, this is now:” Transforming Shared Services

OLIS – SCLD – SUNY Library Community Collaborations
•   The Discovery Systems Task Force report is available via the OLIS wiki;  Fifty SUNY libraries have signed up for the recommended discovery system (EBSCO Discovery Service – EDS); SUNY FY 2014-15 implementations; more details to follow;
•   Fifteen SUNY libraries are participating in the shared nursing ebook offer (via STAT!Ref); license to begin August 1, 2013;

Electronic Resources 
•   360Link has been renewed for 2013-14;
•   A SUNYConnect-wide license (2013-14) for EBSCO’s A-Z/LinkSource is being established;
•   New SUNYConnect databases (as of July 1, 2013) – Humanities Source and Applied Science & Technology Source; and, at a time to be announced, Education Source;
•   Opposing Viewpoints database renewed for 2013-14; thanks to SUNY subscribers for making the resource available to all SUNYConnect institutions;
•    A new SUNY-JSTOR contract is being finalized;
 
News
•   Provost Lavallee is concluding his tenure as SUNY Provost July 31, 2013; Dr. Elizabeth Bringsjord has been appointed as Interim Vice Chancellor and Provost;
•   “Coursera Partnership To Aid Implementation Of Open SUNY”
