Delhi had a good end to the semester, with a great turn out for our annual StAR day (which celebrates students' research and projects). The library hosts this the last week of classes every semester, and this spring we had our largest number of student entries ever.

Denise Holcomb and Liz Santobuono attended the NYSLAA conference at the end of May and brought back several great ideas to share.

Carrie Fishner completed her doctoral work, and has earned her EdD in Educational Leadership and Change.

The library is working to partner with the College Foundation to create a new fund for donors that would support the textbook reserve program - we hope to have this up and running by the start of the fall semester.

Elise DeAndrea, Head of Archives & Special Collections, received Upstate's Excellence in Library Service Award. Elise was recognized for her many contributions across campus, including organizing the On My Own Time art exhibit, preserving the university's portrait collection, and preserving and sharing the legacy of historic alumni Elizabeth Blackwell and Sarah Loguen Fraser. Congratulations, Elise!

The library is hosting the On My Own Time art exhibit until the end of June. This local program was created in 1974 by CNY Arts and the local Everson Museum to help local businesses identify, celebrate, and promote creativity among their employees. This year, the show features works from 11 Upstate employee artists.

The library is also hosting a series of "Summer Camp Crafts" between June and August. For one week at a time, we'll have crafting stations where students (and faculty/staff) can drop in to make boondoggle keychains, friendship bracelets, and popsicle bookmarks.
