Grants (Michelle Bowers)
The Grants subcommittee recently awarded two grants, one to Ashlie Morrison and one to Christina Hilburger. Ashlie is receiving the grant as tuition reimbursement for recent coursework in her MS at the University of Buffalo. Christina is receiving the grant as reimbursement for travel expenses presenting at this year's ALA Conference. Congratulations, Ashlie and Christina!
Mentors (Jocelyn Ireland)
The mentoring program matched up one person with a mentor in January. Nominations are being accepted for the Mentor Award. Nominations are due by Friday, May 22 and can be emailed to Jocelyn Ireland (jireland@mvcc.edu).
