Conference planning is well underway!
1. 5 theme options were offered up for voting and the winner is "Currents of Change: Navigating Librarianship in a Rapidly Evolving World." A call for the logo contest will be sent out shortly. Thanks to all who sent in ideas for the theme, your creativity is appreciated.
2. Committees and their chairs have been established and the work of each is underway! Many thanks to those who volunteered to lead committees and serve on committees. We would have no conference without you.
3. Kellie and Logan are working on budget tasks.
4. The next big programming piece is the keynote speaker, so that's the next big task on Kellie's/general conference committee's docket.
5. The CFP for sessions for pre-conference workshops, panels, presentations, spotlights, and lightning talks went out on Monday, 1/12 to the SUNYLA list - Thanks to Jocelyn and Mary for getting this out!
