11/14 Conference Updates:
1. Initial SUNYLA volunteer meeting to be rescheduled - I will select a new date and time and send that information out ASAP (hopefully today). We had a robust answer to the call for volunteers so we will be good to go in terms of the work to be done.
2. Logan and I met with Dan Lynd, our university events coordinator, to start nailing down details now that we solidified the on-campus accommodations. What we know so far:
-Conference dates are Tuesday, June 16th - Thursday, June 18th.
-On-campus accommodations will be in Eagle Hall, the newest dorm on campus and the closest dorm to the library and liberal arts building, where most of the programming will take place. Dan will take Logan and I on a tour through Eagle in December so we can see everything for ourselves.
-Dan is setting meetings with: BASC, our on-campus food service provider; the parking office regarding parking passes; the print shop regarding signage needs; the "powers that be" regarding alcohol licenses for certain parts of the conference.
3. About half of the Drake Library team here at Brockport volunteered to help with conference. We are looking forward to hosting everyone!
