A few updates from Personnel Policies Committee:
1) Update on committee membership (which I forgot to report on during the last few Council meetings):
-Over the course of the last year a couple members had to rotate off the committee, and we are thrilled to have two new members join:
Rai Yiannakos (Alfred) (March 2024)
Faye Starman (Cobleskill) (October 2025)
-Our continuing members are
Mary Timmons (Monroe)
Dana Laird (Brockport)
-We welcome additional members, and if you or a colleague are interested, please reach out to any of us!
2) Update on the Stay Survey:
-The committee is resuming work on the Stay Survey. We met on Nov. 3 and 6 and discussed:
-Next steps: CITI Training, IRB process through SUNY Oneonta, learn Qualtrics
-We scanned to see if there were similar surveys done for libraries in state-wide systems; it appears this will be the first (Oklahoma State University Libraries conducted Stay INTERVIEWS earlier this year):
