Workgroup updates:
The Shared Repository Workgroup has hit the ground running and is making progress toward the development of a SUNY-wide space for sharing info lit instructional materials. The group is currently evaluating hosting options for a digital repository to house lesson plans, tutorials, activities, and other instructional content. We are also drafting submission guidelines and workflows. We plan on ensuring that all contributed materials will carry open licenses to support reuse and adaptation. Establishing accessibility expectations is also a priority so that shared materials meet inclusive design standards.
The AI Literacy Workgroup is finalizing its charter. The group’s tentative goals include developing student learning outcomes that align with the revisions to the SUNY GenEd Info Lit Competency, as well as creating a shared collection of instructional activities mapped to established IL and AI literacy frameworks.
