The committee working on the Midwinter Conference has been assembled and has gotten started. The call for proposals has gone out and is available on the website:
https://sunyla.org/sunyla-midwinter-2026/. (Thanks, Chris!) The conference will be February 6, 2026 with the theme "Brave New World: New Environments, New Challenges, and New Opportunities in Technical Services." This year's committee members are Jill Locascio, Carrie Marten, Jessica McGivney, Fred Stoss, and me (Kate Brent).
We'll need to upgrade the Zoom account just before the conference to accommodate hosting it, so we'll need to ask for approval of funds to do that.
