Activities since September:
• October issue of the newsletter went out around the middle of the month
o Next issue is February, theme=TBD <--- suggestions welcome
o call for submissions will go out mid-January
Upcoming:
• I will be recruiting a couple of new members for proofreading duty
o Justin stepped down and Tracy is retiring
• Amanda Lowe, who handles our social media, has proposed adding LinkedIn and Instagram accounts, along with a working group to support a more robust social media presence for SUNYLA
o I think these are great ideas and I hope we can make them happen
o Assuming the idea moves forward, a proposal for establishing a social media working group as an official part of the committee will be brought to the council at a later date
