We recently awarded the following professional Development grants

Mentoring:
One person was matched to a mentor through the mentor program since our last meeting. We would like to motion for $500 for the mentor award this year (if only one is awarded then we can use the funds for next year).
Committee Openings:
We are looking for someone to coordinate grants and chair the Grants Subcommittee. This involves receiving grant applications, verifying membership status, reviewing the application with other members of the committee and communicating with the applicant.
Depending on the outcome of the election, we may also need someone to chair the PD committee overall. This involves communicating with subcommittee chairs and taking on any other initiatives that are charged to this group through the Council.
