No FACT2 meetings have taken place since the last SUNYLA meeting. But... the SUNY wide Learning Object Repository (LOR) in Brightspace is going live this month and SUNY is looking for people interested in serving as reviewers. The LOR will primarily house learning objects that are openly licensed. Please see the request below. If you have questions you can reach out to me (kghidiu@monroecc.edu). If you are interested in serving as a reviewer please fill out the google form! We are encouraged to share to the LOR as well.
Thanks - Katie

Dear SUNY Campus Librarian,
We are excited to announce the launch of the Learning Object Repository (LOR) feature within the SUNY Digital Learning Environment (DLE). This new resource, known as the SUNY DLE LOR, is now available to all SUNY DLE campuses through Brightspace.
The SUNY DLE LOR is a dynamic library of educational resources designed to foster collaboration and sharing across our SUNY community. Faculty and staff can share Brightspace content and other materials with colleagues, departments, and campuses throughout the SUNY system.
How It Works:
Publish and Retrieve Content: You can easily submit and access learning objects within most Brightspace course tools. Simply select the “Learning Object Repository” option from the drop-down or action menu for any compatible content.
Quality Assurance: All submitted content undergoes a light review to ensure it meets our established criteria and standards before being made available to others.
Call for Volunteers: We need volunteers from the SUNY DLE community to assist with the review process. Your participation will help maintain the high quality of resources in the SUNY DLE LOR.
For more details about the SUNY DLE LOR, please visit the SUNY DLE Learning Object Repository web page at:

If you are interested in volunteering as a SUNY DLE Reviewer or serving as an Alternate, please indicate your interest by filling out this form:

Thank you for your support and collaboration!
Best regards,
SUNY DLE Team
