The IDEA committee has been busy putting together some resources to share with SUNYLA and beyond. Look for an update in the newsletter featuring the first of our DEI mini guides, this one on racial cultural competence.
On top of the guides, we are excited to be partnering with the Professional Development committee to offer a 2 hour virtual workshop on advocacy and allyship! This will take place on Tuesday, January 21 starting at 2:00 p.m. There are a limited number of "seats" available, so keep an eye on your email for a signup sheet from Logan Rath. If we have a lot of interest in this workshop I'll be happy to offer it again, and if you'd like others at your institution to experience the workshop then I'm happy to work with you to set up a special session outside of SUNYLA for your campus.
