Membership Development Committee Report

Membership Statistics:
As of November 11, 2011, there are 132 members in SUNYLA with current memberships. In SUNYLA, there are 65 delegate positions; 38 delegates have been identified and 21 are currently members.
Membership Report:
This year the Membership Development Committee (MDC) is focusing on two main projects:
1)The MDC chair is working with the Conference Committee for this year’s conference. The committee is specifically focused on planning the membership social.
2)The committee is working on a SUNYLA brochure that could be used by the delegates to increase membership and to provide new members with basic information about the organization.
3)The committee will be sending out a message this month, on the listserv, reminding SUNLYA members that memberships expired in June and to renew their memberships.
