SUNYConnect LMS and Related Activities
• OLIS and ITEC have begun working on a hardware upgrade project for the 56 campuses in the shared server environment;
• Phase 3 of the Reclamation Project is underway (for the remaining 20 sites on the shared servers); 3 of those campuses nearly complete; 4 others in process.
OLIS – SCLD – SUNYLA Collaborations
• Emerging Library Service Certificate Program – a committee is being set up to move the idea towards an operationalized form;
• SUNYOne – final report of the purchase on demand pilot program can be found at
http://scld.files.wordpress.com/2011/10/sunyonefinalreport_20111012.docx ); the SCLD Shared Collections Task Force has been charged by the SUNYConnect Coordinating Committee to seek campuses interested in continuing the program; the SUNYConnect Finance Committee will be considering the group’s recommendation that the program become a core service of SUNYConnect;
• The Shared Collections task force is one of a number of groups (SCAC, C4D as well) that are investigating a last copy policy for SUNY libraries;
• Other task force groups established by SCLD are entitled Assessment, Content Fee, Knowledge Base, Leadership, Library Information Management Systems, Shared Staff, Shared Technical Services, and Vision.

• A call will be going out soon for any campuses that want to “swap” campus-specific ScienceDirect subscriptions.

• The SUNY Council of Library Directors has approved the membership of the new SUNYConnect Coordinating Committee and the SUNYConnect Finance Committee (see
