NYSLAA is currently working on workshop ideas for the 2024 conference.
We have elected Cheryl Marriott as our new President!
We have also elected:
Cheryl Paine as our new Corresponding Secretary.
Mario Castillo as our donations officer.
Shai-ana Grippaldi as Public Relations Committee Chair.
Heather Gad will be taking over as Treasurer starting 1/1/24. We will need a new recording secretary then.
We have finalized our menus for the conference
We have made our logo and theme: Library workers, making connections, making a difference. The logo will be on our website sometime this week.
We discussed possible tours for the conference.
We are not going to be running a COA workshop since we do not have anyone available to run it.
Our scholarship deadline is 12/31/23
We are doing Double Good Popcorn as a fundraiser.
