Hello 

Here is what we have been up to in NYSLAA

•Speakers are all lined up and the library rooms are reserved.
•Workshop contracts have been sent out.
•Website has been updated. https://www.nyslaa.org/
•Inventory for freebies was evaluated; we have plenty of fun stuff to hand out at the conference.
•Free memberships for National Library Week (April 23-29th) was discussed and approved.
•Town Hall meeting for the conference was discussed and details were decided on
•Basket raffles were discussed. We have some baskets lined up and will be reaching out for more
•Discussed utilizing Facebook more
•Envelopes were stuffed for the conference

Scheduled our next meeting for April 18th

We had our 2023 NYSLAA conference.

It went very well, despite the air problems.

Posts were put on our Facebook page throughout the conference

We passed the scroll to Cheryl M. Marriot, DRE
We are tentatively scheduled for the White Plains area. Dates to be determined.

Our next committee meeting which will be either July 10th or 11th will discuss our bylaws to fine tune our committee member duties to alleviate confusion on what is expected from future members of the committee.
We voted in Cheryl M. Marriot, DRE as our new Vice President of NYSLAA
