News:

NYLA Executive Director Search is underway. A search committee has been selected with individuals that represent all aspects of librarianship: school, special, public, and academia. Geoffrey Kirkpatrick, Director of Bethlehem Public Library will serve as Chair of the search committee.

Timeline:

October 2021 – Select Search Committee
November 2021 – Post Job Description
December 2021 – Review Applications and interview candidates
January 2022 – Start date for new Executive Director

Special Elections – Treasurer Elect

Frank McKenna, Director, Seaford Public Library, was elected to serve as Treasurer Elect
