The planning committee met on December 14th, and after discussion of the results of the survey sent out to the membership, has made the determination to hold the 2021 annual conference in a fully virtual format.
Discussions are now focused on how to best meet the needs of attendees in the virtual format, drawing on the experiences from last year. We hope to keep a feeling of "local flavor" with the conference, as well as meeting many of the members' requests for fellowship and networking, as well as our traditional program of professional development.
Registration will be free for all SUNYLA members. Non-members will have a small cost, yet to be determined, but no more than $20.
Thank you to Adam Saunders for the design of this year's conference logo, to go with our theme of "From Seeds to Services: Growing the New Academic Library".
Call for program proposals has gone out. Proposals are due by Feb. 26th. Call for Poster presentations will go out in March.
