SLS staff are working on a project to reduce duplication of efforts across our 60 campuses, related to procurement and contract management for library subscriptions. We’re working collaboratively with SUNY campuses, the SUNY Shared Collections Committee (formerly CPC), SUNY System-Wide procurement, the NYS Office of General Services and Office of the NY State Comptroller, and vendor and publisher partners. The SLS intends to release an invitation for bids soon, and has submitted single-source exemption requests to encourage and facilitate more efficient procurement going forward. We hosted a kick-off meeting in early November, and have created a Basecamp for discussions related to this project. There will be further webinars and updates as the project continues.
Alma analytics was upgraded on 11/8/20. Primo analytics is scheduled for 11/22/20. They will now run on OAS (Oracle Analytics Server).
50 libraries have resumed Alma physical resource sharing. ELD has resumed service for the NYC hub, upon request. 16 libraries are now borrowing articles via Alma.
36 CDI audits have been completed for campuses.
Two campuses are piloting ProQuest’s Rialto product, for item selection and acquisition workflow.
Next monthly update will be presented at the SLC Fall Virtual Meeting, Dec. 7-9.
Please visit our training calendar, for a full list of upcoming webinars.

== SUNY OER Services (SOS) ==
This fall a record number of SUNY faculty and students are using courses and platforms available at oer.suny.edu.
As a reminder these are at no cost to SUNY campuses, faculty and students and offer another means by which SUNY provides equitable access to higher education.
New courses that will be available soon:
Public Speaking (Waymaker)
Financial Accounting (OHM)
College Physics (OLI)
SUNY campuses have begun using SUNY Digital Repository (SDR) as a place to store and share locally based OER.
SOS is proud to partner with the new SUNY Press imprint, 64 ink in providing faculty and students additional options for reliable offline access to OER.
