Professional Development Committee Report

I. Justina Elmore resigned in August from her position as Co-Chair of the PD Committee. She has left SUNY Geneseo for a position at a non-SUNY institution. We wish her the best of luck!
II. The PD Grants Subcommittee approved one grant application. A Professional Development Grant was awarded to:
Michael V. Daley (Fulton-Montgomery Community College)
Awarded $500 to attend the Annual Open Education Conference , 11/18/15-11/20/15, Vancouver, BC
III. I would like to hold a virtual meeting virtually. However, doing so may be challenging. I’m seeking input from the Council regarding software to host meetings/webinars/brown bag series, etc. This topic was explored briefly at the March 13, 2015 meeting.
