Here are the council meeting details:

The meeting will begin at 10am.  We will be meeting in the Lanigan Room on the second floor of the library.

Not much really news worthy going on here.  We continue to refine our newly implemented collaboration arrangement with the Learning Skills Center. 

I'm currently enrolled in a Post-Masters Certificate Program at the School of Library and Information Science at San Jose State University. It's done entirely online. If you're interested in adding some padding to your CV or "updating your professional knowledge and explore emerging trends in the Library and Information Science (LIS)", I would highly recommend it.  I'm learning lots. The council meeting will be held at SUNY Empire in Saratoga Springs on Sept. 21st.  We'll meet from 10am to 3pm with a lunch break in-between.  

The address is as follows:
113 West Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY

No parking permit is required, just park anywhere (there's just the one parking lot).

We'll be meeting in room 142

Jason Kramer from NYSHEI will be visiting/presenting to the council at 1pm.

Here's all the information on the location of the council meeting on Wednesday. The meeting will start at 10am and will be in DCA 8th floor (D is for Dubinsky Building).  Here's a few links that might help with finding your way.  Once you get to the building, I'm sure the guard will be able to direct you in the right direction.

We've had a busy semester and just completed our 2012 Information Literacy Assessment which went well. We wasted no time once spring semester ended to start inventory of our collection.  I think we're all looking forward to the summer break, which is usually slow and sluggish and gives us plenty of time to catch up and complete projects.
