IDS Project Liaison Report

Registration is open for the IDS Project Conference!

The IDS Project's 12th Annual Summer Conference is Thursday, July 28th, and Friday, July 29th at the Desmond Hotel and Conference Center in Albany, NY. This year's conference theme is "The Sharing Economy" and approximately 250 attendees are expected.  The All Region User Group will be held on Wednesday, July 27th.   If you do not have the funds to attend the conference, we are offering three scholarships to member libraries.  Each scholarship will cover registration and two nights stay at the Desmond Hotel (Wednesday and Thursday night).  If you are interested in applying for a scholarship, please visit http://idsproject.org/conferences/2016/scholarships.aspx

CONFERENCE COST: $175 Registration Fee.

The IDS Project Online Learning Institute will soon open registration for Summer courses, including Borrowing 101, Copyright 101, and Lending 101.  New course modules are on the way!  Stay tuned at http://idsproject.org/OLI/index.aspx

The Spring Regional User Group meetings were recently held at St. John Fisher College (Western), SUNY Polytechnic Institute (Eastern), and Brooklyn College (METRO).  Practitioners were given the opportunity to learn about Paperless Lending Workflows, new IDS Logic features, how to build ILLiad Client Side Routing Rules, and Logic Rules.  Resources can be found for each region at http://idsproject.org/usergroups.aspx
